How to use Colorize

Open Color & intensity, choose a hue, and raise the slider until the duotone feels right. Use Original to check skin tones and contrast.

Export

Reset all returns to indigo and 50% when you want a known baseline. Download writes PNG with the exact blend you see on Edited.

Pro tips

  • What is a color-graded photo? Here it means your image is blended with a duotone ramp so shadows lean into your pick and highlights lift toward a clean wash.
  • Choosing the right tone: match cool hex values (#0EA5E9) for techy moods, warm ambers (#D97706) for vintage, or stay on the default indigo for a safe editorial base.
  • For portraits, keep intensity between 35–65% first—push higher once skin still looks intentional in Original vs Edited.
  • If the grade feels flat, your source may be low contrast; try a bolder color before maxing intensity.
